There’s something about small cute things that’s really appealing. Small children and animals come to mind of course, but also other small things such as small journals and notebooks. I’ve certainly made my share of creative mini-journals both stitched and paper, and never seem to get tired of them.
If you’ve never made a mini journal or notebook before, they are quick and easy to make using the same process as for larger basic journals and notebooks – only on a smaller scale. In this video tutorial I’m sharing my favorite method of making a basic journal plus three different assembly options – stapled, machine stitched, and hand sewn using a pamphlet stitch. Using these instructions you can make journals and notebooks of any size!
- Sketch Paper
- Scrapbook paper
- Bone Folder
- Long Reach Stapler
- Embroidery Thread
