A ritual doesn’t have to be complicated. Simply set aside some time at each new moon and full moon. Find a quiet place where you won’t be disturbed. You could light a candle or put on some favorite music to relax. Then start writing.

Mental things could be feelings of worthlessness or frustration, or even old grievances with others. If this process feels difficult, start with a few small, easy things.
Once you’ve completed the journal card, dispose of it as a symbolic act of faith that the things that you want to release are already gone. If you’re getting rid of physical things, make a time or plan to get rid of them. Then rip the card up and toss it in the bin, or burn it. Do whatever feels right for you.
