Open the “Outer Shapes” template in a photo editing program such as photoshop or photoshop elements.

Place one or several digital papers on a layer underneath the template layer. Position as desired.

Open the “Inner Shapes” template and place on the layer above the “Outer Shapes” layer.

Add one or several digital papers and position as desired. Use a clipping mask to attached the papers to the “Inner Shapes” layer.

Place one or several digital papers on a layer underneath the template layer. Position as desired.

Open the “Inner Frame” template and place on the top layer.

Print the file and cut out the pieces.

Open the pdf file in a pdf reader such as Adobe Reader. Select the “Outer Shapes” page.

Make sure the “page scaling” option (or similar) is set to “none” to ensure that the template prints at the correct size.

Insert your patterned or colored paper into your printer. Print the file.

Select the “Inner Frame” page. Make sure the “page scaling” option (or similar) is set to “none” to ensure that the template prints at the correct size.

Put the same printed page back into the printer and print again.

Cut out the pieces.
